We strongly recommend Flexi Trips if you want to travel according to your own schedule, and work more independently. They’re a great fit for adults looking for volunteer holidays, and work equally well if you’re going as a single or with a friend or partner.
Our other volunteer trips are built around group experiences, where you arrive and leave together, and you get guidance from our staff more frequently.
When you’re not working, there’s plenty for you to see and do to further enjoy your volunteering holiday. Our in-country staff can give you tips on where to go and what to do over weekends. See local sights, eat your weight in delicious traditional food, and experience the culture and traditions!
Volunteer Holidays with Animals
We offer a wide variety of animal volunteer holidays, through our Conservation Projects and Animal Care Projects.
If you want a wildlife conservation holiday, our Conservation Projects are for you. Invoke your inner Charles Darwin and work with sea lions and giant tortoises in the Galapagos Islands. Monitor wild elephant populations or help protect endangered giraffes in the heart of Africa. Or, help rehabilitate spider monkeys in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest in Peru. Will I really make a difference on a humanitarian holiday?
Taking a humanitarian holiday is a great way to do something exciting and channel your energy into positive change while on vacation. Instead of relaxing at a beach resort, for example, you can travel to a black sand beach in Mexico and save endangered sea turtles.
