Volunteering Abroad for Professionals

For professional volunteering abroad, we recommend our Flexi Trips. These trips are at the core of what we offer at Projects Abroad: flexible, tailored volunteering experiences that are right for you.

If you’re a medical or healthcare professional, for example, you can volunteer in a rural clinic or community hospital. Here, you can use your skills to run workshops and help local professionals learn about improved or new treatment methods. We also have a number of childcare and teaching placements that would benefit from having professional social workers, teachers, and psychologists there.

You can also choose to work in law and human rights or as a business consultant on one of our Micro-finance Projects.

Regardless of what you choose to do, these internships are handled on a case-by-case basis. We can chat to you directly about the placement where you’ll be able to make the biggest difference, and tailor your experience to your set of skills.
