We're proud to work with a range of organisations that both recognise and help us maintain our high standards.
These partnerships also offer some great benefits for you too.

Quality & Safety
B Corp
Projects Abroad is proud to be a certified B Corporation ('B Corp'). This demonstrates our commitment to people and the planet.
It means we are members of a global community that uses business as a force for good. As of June 2024, there were approximately 8,800 B Corps globally, with just 50 of these being travel companies.
Learning Outside of the Classroom
We’re proud to hold the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge.
The LOtC Quality Badge assures you that our programmes meet high standards for safety, learning, and quality.
Using someone who holds the LOtC Quality Badge gives you peace of mind that they have been assessed for their quality of risk management and their education. LOtC Quality Badge holders all have to meet a set of Quality Indicators.
The Department for Education’s guidance on Health & Safety on Educational Visits recommends that schools look for the LOtC Quality Badge when choosing external providers of educational visits.
The Outdoor Education Advisers’ Panel endorse the LOtC Quality Badge and most Local Authority and Academy Trust’s Outdoor Education Advisers accept it in place of some or all of their provider checks, so using a LOtC Quality Badge holder reduces your own paperwork.
Visit the Learning outside of the Classroom website.
Expedition Providers Association
We're a proud member of the Expedition Providers Association (EPA), which means our programmes have been fully assessed and approved for safety and quality.
The EPA is dedicated to ensuring safe and high-quality overseas trips for young adults under 25.
Their rigorous standards give you extra peace of mind knowing your adventure is in good hands.

British Standard BS 8848
Organisers of adventurous activities, from schools to travel and tour operators, need to know the risks involved and how to manage them effectively. If the appropriate level of planning, risk assessment or training is not in place then the consequences can be serious.
BS 8848 enables organisers of adventure travel to put in place a system to assess and manage risks, covering both the venture itself and the capabilities and experience of venture leaders and participants.
It was designed and built on existing UK guidance, and through wide consultation, it has created an agreed-upon national standard that benchmarks current good practice.
It provides assurance to participants that venture providers are following good practice to help reduce the risk of injury or illness.
